Train delays on Charleroi-Brussels line 05/03/2007 00:00
5 March 2007
BRUSSELS – Reduced train service will be running on the Charleroi-Brussels train route on Monday because of a problem with the overhead contact wire between Luttre and Nijvel on Saturday.
Only one track between Luttre and Nijvel will be in operation today and there will consequently be less frequent services between Charleroi and Brussels.
IR trains between Jambes-Essen and the Charleroi-Antwerp IC trains will have 15-minute delays during the rush hours and five-minute delays during the quieter times.
In addition, 11 peak hour trains will be scrapped on the Nijvel-Charleroi route and two other trains will follow detours along other lines.
