BRUSSELS – The public prosecution department in Charleroi confirmed today that a suspect has been arrested for the fatal stabbing during the carnival in Binche. He is suspected of manslaughter.
The identity of the 22-year-old resident of Péronnes-lez-Binche has not been released.
The young man has confessed that the stabbing took place during a fight resulting from a dispute that had begin earlier that week. The rival gangs were arguing over "territory."
