BRUSSELS - King Albert II will be released from hospital either Friday or Saturday, according to the spokesperson at the Sint-Jan Clinic.
"The king's rehabilitation is going smoothly, but the doctors are advising him to get enough rest," said spokesperson Isabelle de Meyere at the Sint-Jan Clinic.
The king underwent hip replacement surgery last Tuesday after a fall. On Wednesday he received informateur Didier Reynders, who submitted his final report in preparation for the formation of a new government.
