Brussels to build outdoor swimming pool 02/03/2007 00:00
2 March 2007
Brussels' government gave the green light on Thursday to build an outdoor swimming pool and a surrounding park in the vicinity of Bassin du Béco.
The swimming pool will be located across from the famous former industrial site Tour et Taxi. The project is part of new efforts to transform this neighbourhood in the capital into a mixed zone hosting, incorporating businesses and housing.
To finalise this project several industrial businesses, mostly construction companies, will be relocated several hundred meters away.
