The quality of health care and childcare in Belgium score high in the UN Quality of Life index
BRUSSELS – Belgium comes twelfth in the international Quality of Life index. This country scores particularly high in the areas of childcare and healthcare. This emerged from a survey comparing the economies of 183 countries.
Norway tops the list, followed by Iceland and Australia. Belgium takes up the 17th place in the index of largest economies and Belgian’s purchasing power ranks 20th .
The only list topped by Belgium is the index listing the number of households in the possession of TV: 99.8 percent.
