Afghani nationals squatting church 02/03/2007 00:00

16 Afghani nationals started squatting Brussels' Minimes church on Friday, said the priest in charge, Jacques Van Der Biest.
It is not the first time this church has been occupied by immigrants. Priest Van Der Biest is allowing the occupation so long as he is able to conduct his usual activities and perform his services.
The illegal Afghani migrants might plan on starting a hunger strike. Priest Van Der Biest said that although he did not agree with such practices, he will not try to stop them.
