Deputy Prime Minister Yves Leterme (Flemish Christian democrat) returned to work on Monday. He answered inquiries in a parliamentary committee.
It is Deputy Prime Minister Yves Leterme's first day back in almost three weeks.
He was in Leuven University hospital being treated for internal bleeding.
In the meantime Yves Leterme has recovered well and is ready to forge ahead at full steam, he insists.
During questioning at the parliamentary commission, Leterme said he was very glad to be back at work.
Yves Leterme is due to take over from Belgium's interim Prime Minister Guy Verhofstadt at Easter.
