Anderlecht beat Charleroi 2 - 0 away.
Hassan was first to take Anderlecht ahead. Boussoufa (photo) made it 2 - 0 just before halftime.
The result takes Anderlecht to 4th place in the league - two points adrift of Cercle Brugge that is third.
Charleroi is eleventh.
Earlier in the evening AA Gent beat Germinal Beerschot 2 - 1.
Germinal is now in 5th position, AA Gent in 6th.
Standard de Liège remain on top of the first division, with Club Brugge in second place.
