Friday marked the day where the company’s European hub moved to Germany

Friday was the last working day for around 1,000 staff with the international courier company DHL.
DHL transferred its European hub from Brussels Airport at Zaventem in Flemish Brabant to Leipzig in Germany.
Bosses at DHL first announced plans to move the company's European hub to Leipzig in October 2004.
The company had wanted to expand its activities at Zaventem.
However, this would have proved difficult due to limits on the number of night flights from the airport.
Despite the company's European hub moving to Germany, it will retain a sub-hub at Zaventem that will employ around 1,500 people.
Most of the 1,000 people being made redundant have already found alternative employment at the airport.
