Buffaloes bull through to final 16/04/2008 00:00
The trashing of Standard de Liege comes as a surprise to some as the two teams drew in the first leg earlier.

BELGIUM - Tuesday's semi-final match in the Belgian Cup saw surprising results as AA Gent thrashed Standard de Liege 4 - 0 during the second leg of this fixture.
Earlier AA Gent and Standard drew in the first leg 2 - 2.
Standard currently top the Belgian First Division and seem unassailable, but any hope of a double quickly evaporated as AA Gent, the Buffaloes, shot one goal after another into the net.
Standard coach Michel Preud'homme had chosen to rest several of his key players ahead of next weekend's important match against Anderlecht in the First Division.
Foley, Ruiz, Moia and Vermouth all scored for AA Gent.
In the other semi-final, Germinal Beerschot play Anderlecht on Wednesday night.
Anderlecht won the first leg 1 - 0.
