Some 4.000 people bought a museum pass that gave them all-evening access to the seven participating museums.
Museum Night Fever, the first night of the Brussels museums was hugely successful. According to the Brussels Museum Council, some 4.000 people bought a museum pass that gave them all-evening access to the seven participating museums.
The Brussels Musical Instruments Museum (MIM), Bozar, the Archaeological Site on the Coudenberg, the BELvue Museum, the Belgian Comic Strip Museum as well as the National Bank Museum and the Museum of the City of Brussels all opened their doors from 9 pm to 1 am.
Included in the price of the Museum Night Fever Pass was public transport as well as a ticket for the after party which attracted a lot of young visitors.
The concerts at the MIM, the piggy bank parade at the National Bank museum, the body paint workshop at Bozar as well as the beatbox and break-dance showcases at the BELvue Museum all drew in huge crowds.
In the early hours of morning, some 3.000 enthusiast still found the energy to take part in the after party at Bozar.
