In Belgium, the first 10 days of May shone for 118 hours - twice as much as usual.

Belgium -During the first 10 days of the month of May, the sun shone for 118 hours.
According to the Belgian Royal Meteorological Institute, this is very exceptional and only occurs once a century.
The sun usually only shines 56 hours during the first 10 days of May.
The first 10 days of May in 2008 have broken the record for sunshine in that period.
It has also been very warm this month with average temperatures of 16.4 degrees. This is 4 degrees warmer than usual.
With 3.3 millimetres, precipitation in the first 10 days of May was exceptionally low. Belgium usually gets 19.7 millimetres of rain during the first 10 days of May.

Shall I comment this? It is funny for everyone from a normal country...In May, it should be 20-30 Celsius. That is the NORMAL WEATHER. Belgian weather is just a bad joke.
