BRUSSELS – A grandmother aged 78 from Kapelle-op-den-Bos may be banned from entering a football stadium because she called a police officer she suspected of supporting KV Mechelen a "pompous bastard."
The woman, a fanatic supporter of arch-rival Racing Mechelen, was told at the police station that her file might be sent on "to Brussels," to the interior ministry's special unit on football hooligans.
The elderly woman is hoping for clemency after the questioning at the police station.
