Hi,

I have just started dating again, and I have been out on a couple of dates recently. However, I get very nervous and can never think of things to say, which then of course makes it worse! I then worry that they think I am very boring, and then of course I am frantically trying to think of something interesting to say.

I'm quite happy to listen to what they are saying but I know I need to be more confident. Can you help?

Thanks

Hi Jean-Baptiste,

I have my eye on this Spanish girl whom I keep seeing in the club for the past month. She seems really nice and friendly and I would like to talk with her. However, she is constantly surrounded by a group of friends. I also see guys approaching her all the time and she seems really friendly to them, but I am quite sure she doesn't have a special someone. How can I approach her with the little Spanish I know and get her to like me?

Hi, NIck.
Any thoughts on where Americans particularly enjoy living and are welcome in Spain? My husband and I are in our active 60's and would like to begin exploring areas where we could live for 3 months a year.
Many thanks for your thoughts...
Anne

Dear Alex.

I am 60 years of age and own my own apartment in Spain. I intend to go out and live there as soon as I can claim my state pension from England. I have some investments but no other pension income. Can you explain to me if I will have to pay Spanish tax on my state pension and what percentage tax will I be charged on my investment income.
Looking forward to your reply.

Thanks,
Diane
